Testicular Tumors : Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma
The patient was a 79 y/o man with long-standing history of polycythemia vera. He presented with enlarging left scrotum and was found to have a large hydrocele. Testicular ultrasound showed heterogenous appearance with an infiltrative pattern highly suspicious for a tumor. The orchiectomy specimen shows multiple tumor nodules ranging in size from 0.5 to 2.0 cm and foci of hemorrhage. Sections revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (CD20 positive; CD3 negative).
